Postage/shipping is based on the size and weight of the item and the delivery destination. The total cost will be shown in your cart when you order. A table showing the postage charges for each item can be seen at the bottom of this page.
We aim to send out orders within 7 days of receipt, but sometimes at busy times such as Christmas it may take a little longer. Should there be a problem and your order is out of stock or going to take longer to deliver you will be notified by email.
UK orders are sent by Royal Mail, 1st class, approx 1–3 days from date of despatch. European orders are sent by Royal Mail and can take 5–7 days from date of despatch. USA and elsewhere in the world are sent by Royal Mail – Tracked & Signed, approx 7–10 days from date of despatch. Please note there may be duty charges on orders outside the European Union. Some items are made to order so can take up to two weeks but you will contacted in these cases.
We will deliver the goods to the address you specify for delivery on your order. Please make sure this address is accurate, and you are careful to select the appropriate address for shipping and billing. We cannot accept any liability for loss or damage to the Goods once they have been delivered in accordance with your delivery instructions.
Due to the varied sizes and weights of our products, the geographical location of our trade customers and the differences in packaging materials it is not possible to automatically determine the shipping costs for trade customers. To ensure a cost-effective service, the shipping costs for individual trade orders will be calculated manually on order and sent via invoice.
DUTY AND CUSTOMS
If your order is to be delivered outside the European Union, it may attract import duty and local sales taxes which customers will need to pay on receipt of the shipment. These rules vary by country and your local government determines duty and customs charges. The customer is responsible for any duties and/or taxes levied at the point of entry into the destination country. An invoice is provided with all orders. You shall not be entitled to cancel your order on the basis of unforeseen duties or levies.
All goods must be returned within 14 days of receipt. If you fail to do so you will be deemed to have accepted the goods.
If you are unhappy or find fault with your purchase please return it within 14 days and we will fully refund you or exchange the item. It must be unworn and in its original packaging. It is always best to send goods by recorded or special delivery and retain the proof of postage. You shall be entitled to a replacement or full refund (including delivery costs plus any return postal charges) if the goods are defective.
If you wish to return perfect goods for a refund, this must be done within 14 days of receipt. Items must be returned in perfect condition and in their original packaging, and must be adequately insured for the return journey. You are eligible for a full refund less the outbound and return shipping and packing charges once we have received and inspected the goods. All returned goods must clearly show the original order number and details. If you wish to exchange the item for another there will be no charge for shipping the exchange item.
Any items which are returned will be at your own expense (apart from faulty goods) and Louise Wedderburn Design cannot be liable for any goods that do not reach us. Any returned orders from outside the UK need to be marked: “Returned British Goods and No VAT or Duty Due” so that no taxes are levied. If the price of goods changes between the date we accept your order and the delivery date, you will pay the price that was displayed during your original transaction.
